安全車、虛擬安全車系統、巴庫賽道全新揭露！
Ubisoft 宣布由知名競速遊戲開發商 Codemasters® 製作的世界一級方程式錦標賽官方電玩遊戲《F1 2016》預計將於今年夏季推出，帶來系列作推出以來最令人身歷其境的生涯模式，亞洲地區將由 Ubisoft 代理發行 PlayStation®4 與 Xbox One 版本。
《F1 2016》的新生涯模式將帶領玩家於賽道內外深入探究世界上最迷人、最刺激、最知名的賽車運動。新增了該賽車運動著名的「安全車」和「虛擬安全車系統」，還有新加入 2016 年世界一級方程式錦標賽歐洲站的巴庫街頭賽道所帶來的挑戰，讓這款逼真重現賽車運動的遊戲更加精彩。
「《F1 2016》讓該系列遊戲向前跨出了一大步」，Codemasters 首席遊戲設計師 Lee Mather 表示：「新的生涯模式可說是這款遊戲的核心，讓玩家能夠展開長達 10 個賽季的賽車生涯並且創造屬於自己的傳奇。除了針對賽道上高速且驚險刺激的競速遊戲體驗作出強化外，《F1 2016》也獨家帶來了賽車運動幕後的戲劇性事件與車輛發展。豐富的車輛升級系統與全新且富有深度的實務發展計畫進行了全面整合，反映出現實世界車隊針對車輛進行的各種測試。」
Mather 繼續說到：「生涯模式，加上重新導入的安全車、還有首次納入的虛擬安全車系統，以及許多其他未公開的改進與強化，都將使《F1 2016》帶來更多超越既往的全新特色。」
在新的生涯模式裡，玩家可選擇一名在遊戲世界裡的車手並成為他的化身、還可選擇一個在車手生涯中使用的編號。接著，玩家可以自由選擇任何一支一級方程式車隊，每支車隊都有不同的目標和期望。從較後方的位置起跑或許更有挑戰性，但也較容易超越車隊的期望；玩家可以獲得合約以及轉換車隊，或可以將喜愛的車隊培育成有角逐冠軍實力的隊伍。
為了擴展生涯模式的真實程度，除了賽道上的競速體驗外，《F1 2016》還提供了各車隊令人驚艷的接待區作為玩家的遊戲中心。玩家可以在這個區域裡與他們的研究、開發工程師和經紀人一起合作，推動他們在賽車場上與場外的進展。玩家更能從接待區裡的整備區看到其他重要人物，進一步加強身歷其境的感受。
一級方程式賽車原本就已經十分精彩，2016 年賽季又新加入了亞塞拜然站，該國首都巴庫將帶來賽季中車速最快的街道賽。初期釋出的遊戲畫面中展示了新的時間編輯器，可讓玩家戲劇性地自訂賽車體驗的視覺光景。同時全新的 Haas F1 車隊在 2016 年世界一級方程式錦標賽裡首度登場，並成為 30 年來第一支美國 F1 車隊。
