抵達擁有1200年歷史的溫泉街後，我們探訪了傳說由弘法大師擊石湧出的「獨鈷之湯」，並漫步於靜謐的「竹林小徑」。影片同時揭示了這座小鎮的雙重面貌：
一方面，它是日劇《月薪嬌妻》的浪漫拍攝地，促成了演員星野源與新垣結衣的現實婚姻；另一方面，它也是1204年鎌倉幕府二代將軍源賴家遭暗殺的血腥政治刑場。
此外，我們也探討了「修禪寺」與「修善寺」同音不同字的歷史更迭。這是一趟交織著現代內容觀光消費、大眾文化符號與沈重歷史記憶的空間巡禮。
This video documents a walking tour starting from Mishima Station, taking the Izuhakone Railway to Shuzenji Onsen, often called the “Little Kyoto of Izu.”
Upon arriving at the 1,200-year-old hot spring town, we visit “Tokko-no-yu,” a spring legendary created by Kobo Daishi, and stroll through the tranquil “Bamboo Forest Path.” The video reveals the town’s dual nature: it operates as a romantic filming location for the drama “The Full-Time Wife Escapist” (which led to the real-life marriage of actors Gen Hoshino and Yui Aragaki), yet it simultaneously harbors a dark past as the site where Kamakura shogun Minamoto no Yoriie was assassinated in 1204.
We also explore the historical shift behind the kanji of “Shuzenji.” This journey is a spatial exploration that critically intertwines modern tourism, pop culture symbols, and heavy political history.
三島駅から伊豆箱根鉄道に揺られ、「伊豆の小京都」と称される修善寺温泉へと足を踏み入れる。この動画は、そんな静かな散歩の軌跡を綴ったものである。
開湯千二百年の歴史を湛える温泉街では、弘法大師の伝説が息づく「独鈷の湯」や、風が竹葉を鳴らす「竹林の小径」を静かに巡る。しかし、この土地が持つ表情は一つではない。
そこには、ドラマ『逃げるは恥だが役に立つ』のロケ地として消費され、星野源と新垣結衣の結婚という祝祭的な物語を纏った「ロマンチックな聖地」としての顔がある。その一方で、一二〇四年、鎌倉幕府二代将軍・源頼家が暗殺の刃に倒れたという、血塗られた政治史の舞台としての冷徹な顔もまた、地層のように重なっている。
「修禅寺」と「修善寺」という、同音でありながら異なる漢字に込められた変遷を辿れば、この空間が歩んできた複雑な歳月が浮かび上がる。現代の観光コンテンツ、ポップカルチャーの記号、そして逃れようのない重密な歴史。それらが交錯する修善寺という特異な空間を、思索とともに歩む巡礼の記録である
